ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001:2015 lays down the requirements for a quality management system. It is the only standard in this family that can be used for certification (but is not mandatory). All organisations, small or large, and irrespective of their field of activity can use it. Indeed, more than one million companies and bodies in more than 170 countries apply it.
This standard is based on a certain number of management principles, notably a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good-quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
ISO 14001:2015
The ISO 14000 family of standards provides practical tools to companies and organisations of every kind that wish to live up to their environmental responsibilities.
ISO 14001:2015 and is associated standards, such as ISO 14006:2011, focus on environmental management systems that that can be used to this end. The other standards in this family deal with specific aspects, such auditing, communication, labelling and life-cycle analysis, as well as the environment stakes that impact on climate change.
